Day 01
Colombo
The busiest city or vibe in Sri Lanka is Colombo where you will land after arriving. Spend some time getting to know the city's operations and the way that colonial-era buildings coexist peacefully with modern living.
Day 02
Kandy
Go from Colombo to Kandy the center of this nation's culture. The ancient Temple of the Tooth which houses the tooth of Buddha is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Look into the island's fascinating culture. First to see is the Kandyan Cultural Dance which features vibrant costumes and upbeat rhythms.
Day 03
Mahiyanganaya
When traveling to Sri Lanka they have to witness the traditions and customs of traditional villages like the weaving and clay-making practices of the Pan villagers. Don't forget to satisfy your appetite with the village's traditional rice and curry dish. You will also ascend the Knuckles Mountain, where there is a large range of climbing activities available.
Day 04
Mahiyanganaya
Once you reach Dambana Village you can embark on a full day of excursions to learn about the ancient practices of the Veddah people. With the Veddhas go into the jungle and teach them the ancient art of hunting while explaining to them their way of life. You will see a Vanni after exploring the caves and you will be shocked to hear that the Vedis have invited you to stay in their home. A spectacular finale of traditional Veddha dances will accompany a memorable BBQ dinner roast which is sure to be the event's highlight.
Day 06
Gal Oya
Proceed to Gal Oya National Park an undiscovered wildlife and bird sanctuary. After taking in the natural beauty of the park and filling your stomach with a picnic in a stunning setting go on an adventure jeep excursion to witness a variety of animal species including elks elephants and many beautiful birds.
Day 06
Gal Oya
Traveling under the guidance of Gal Oya a Vedda the village chief takes a path that leads directly into the heart of the forest. It would be great to know that before becoming the dense forest it is today the jungle was a hunting area. A different approach would be to listen to traditional hunting songs while absorbing folktales.
Day 07
Gal Oya
First thing in the morning, go on a boat safari in Gal Oya National Park, where you may witness a variety of creatures, particularly birds and crocodiles. The evening adds an extra layer of culinary instruction as you attend a terrific cooking lesson hosted by a local institution that invites you to a true local supper.
Day 08
Ella
Start in Gal Oya and soon head south to Ella a quaint village encircled by stunning tea plantations. You will also be able to hike the Little Adams Peaks summit in the morning. Enjoy the panoramic view of Uva Southern Valley and Ravana Mountain while strolling in the morning.
Day 09
Departure
Depart with the wonderful memories created together!
